Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using TrainingPad you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Account types

  • Coach — £12/month, includes up to 2 teams.
  • Club Standard — £49/month, includes up to 8 teams.
  • Club Pro — £79/month, includes up to 20 teams.
  • Parent — free, joined by invitation from a coach.

A 14-day free trial applies to coach and club accounts. Cancel any time during the trial and you will not be charged.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload information about a child you do not have parental responsibility for, or which the parent has not consented to
  • Use the platform to harass, bully, or harm any user
  • Attempt to access another tenant's data, reverse engineer authentication, or scrape the service
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that breach these rules without refund.

4. Coach + club responsibilities

As a coach or club admin, you are responsible for:

  • Obtaining parental consent before adding a child's data to the platform
  • Keeping squad records accurate and up to date
  • Setting reasonable match fees and refunding overpayments
  • Promptly removing data on a parent's request

5. AI-generated session content

The session planner uses Anthropic's Claude to draft training plans. Output is generated dynamically; we don't guarantee accuracy, age-appropriateness, or safety in all cases. You, as the coach, remain responsible for reviewing drills before running them with players.

6. Match fees and Stripe

When match fees are enabled, payments are processed by Stripe. TrainingPad takes a 1% platform fee on top of Stripe's standard processing fees. Refund disputes between coach and parent are handled outside the platform — we are not party to the underlying payment.

7. Subscription, billing, cancellation

Subscriptions renew monthly. You can cancel any time from More → Account; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial months.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is rare and announced in-app where possible.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrainingPad is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g. missed fixtures because the service was unavailable). Our total liability is capped at the fees you have paid in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and via email at least 14 days before they take effect; continued use of the service after that point constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
